About the role

Known for delivering exceptional service to a loyal portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, family groups, and businesses, the firm are looking for an Intermediate/Senior Business Services Accountant to join their team.

Their client base is diverse and interesting, including those with foreign ownership structures. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of industries such as Medical, property, primary production, retail, HNWI.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing financial statements and taxation returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
• Assisting with taxation issues, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7
• Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
• Managing client interactions and responsibilities
• Mentoring and training junior staff members

Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in Business Services
• Proficiency with Xero
• Completed or currently studying towards your CA/CPA qualification
• A strong understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
