Location: Ascot Vale to Mooroolbark

Hours: approx. 3-4 hrs per day / 15-20 hours per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a responsible and reliable School Bus Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, following a scheduled route, and ensuring the safety of all passengers.

The bus is a 24 seater. The bus can be left at the school in Mooroolbark, or with you - your choice.

Morning bus run is from Ascot Vale to Mooroolbark, leaving Ascot Vale at 7.45am with one stop. Afternoon run leaves from Mooroolbark at 3.10pm to Ascot Vale with one stop, arriving around 4.30-4.45pm depending on traffic.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the school bus in a safe and efficient manner.

Follow designated route and schedule.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.

Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment.

Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus safely.

Adhere to all traffic laws and school policies.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a school bus endorsement.

Clean driving record.

Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience and a friendly demeanor.

Current Working with Children Check.

Must be able to drive a manual vehicle.
