About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Qualified Roofing Sub Contractor to join our team at PM Roofing in Newcastle, NSW. This is a casual work opportunity, offering the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis. As a Qualified Roofing Sub Contractor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality roofing services to our clients across the local area.

What you'll be doing

Undertaking all aspects of roofing installation and repairs, including measuring, cutting, and fitting roofing materials

Ensuring compliance with safety standards and building regulations

Communicating effectively with clients and project managers to understand their requirements

Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment

Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the roofing process

Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on roofing solutions

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in roofing or a related building trade

Must have own vehicle, valid driver's license and relevant tools

Significant experience working as a Roofing Subcontractor

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve roofing challenges

Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise effectively with clients

A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment

Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines and work locations

Availability to work Monday to Friday and some weekend work when required
