Technical Business Analyst - Federal Government | 12-Month Contract + Extension | Perth

We're seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a federal government disability agency based in Perth. This is an initial 12-month contract with the option to extend for another 12 months. The role follows a hybrid model - 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH - and requires Australian Citizenship as NV1 security clearance will be sponsored.

As an APS6-level Business Analyst, you'll support complex IT initiatives, particularly around Site Reliability, cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), and process mapping in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in business analysis, ideally on large IT projects
• Proven work in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) projects
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
• Skilled in process documentation and structuring BA processes in complex environments
• Team-oriented, with ability to liaise across technical and non-technical areas
• Ideally experience within the

Desirable:

• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Dynatrace, Splunk)
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify performance issues
• Ideally experience within the government sector
