THE EMPLOYER

Our client is a leading Australian Defence consulting and program management firm, delivering critical capability to Army’s Land Network Integration Centre (LNIC).

They are seeking an LNIC Modeller to support the development and maintenance of Land Combat System modelling libraries and artefacts on a high-profile Defence program.

THE ROLE

As the LNIC Modeller, you will undertake Land Combat System modelling using the CATIA tool, maintain the Land Data Model library, and develop modelling artefacts and reports, including NATO Architecture Framework outputs.

You’ll support planning, execution, and documentation of modelling activities, contribute to the development of system architectures, and provide technical expertise to Defence stakeholders in a mission-critical environment.

REQUIREMENTS

NV1 Australian Defence Security Clearance (MUST HAVE)

Ability to perform Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) within the CATIA tool

Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

Experience producing engineering documentation and reports

Proficiency in using SysML to convey system designs to technical and non-technical audiences

DESIRABLE:

Experience with CATIA modelling tool and systems/network modelling

Familiarity with NATO Architecture Framework (NAF) artefacts

Understanding of Defence engineering processes and systems
