As an intermediate Accountant, you’ll gain practical experience across a range of general tax compliance and advisory services, setting you up for a well-rounded and successful career in public practice.

Key responsibilities:

Preparation of:

Annual Financial Statements for all types of entities.

Business Activity Statements (BAS).

Tax returns for all types of entities (individuals, companies, trusts, SMSFs etc.).

Fringe Benefits Tax Returns (FBT).

General compliance work.

Assisting with client advisory and business services and conduct relevant tax research (where required).

Work under the supervision of management to ensure our clients have an exceptional experience in every interaction with the firm.

What We’re Looking For:

Degree and/or qualification in accounting.

Proficiency in accounting software, including MYOB, Xero, Handisoft.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Teams etc.

Friendly, approachable team player who is ready to grow with the firm and has the willingness to learn.

Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and eagerness to take initiative.

Great time management, organisational skills and problem solving.
