Join the Simba team at Macquarie Park, St Ives and Brookvale as a Casual Educator and help our centre continue to grow and thrive.

You will play a key role in offering crucial administrative support to the Service Director, Families, Children, and Educators within the Service, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to relevant standards. You will also have the opportunity to hone your sales skills to assist with managing the services waitlist and building service occupancy, helping to drive the success of the service. The position also offers continuous opportunities for professional growth and development within the organisation.

The Service

Simba Education – St Ives
Our St Ives service is a 96-place centre providing high-quality care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. The service features four beautifully designed rooms — Nursery, Toddler, Junior Preschool, and Preschool — and is currently operating at 40% occupancy, offering a wonderful opportunity for growth and community engagement.

Simba Education – Macquarie Park
Located in the heart of Macquarie Park, this 120-place service supports children from 6 weeks to 6 years across six vibrant learning rooms. Families and educators enjoy access to three spacious outdoor play areas — two located upstairs and one downstairs — designed to inspire exploration and learning through play.

Simba Education – Brookvale
Our Brookvale service caters for up to 68 children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. It features four inviting learning rooms and three large, well-equipped outdoor play areas, offering a nurturing environment that encourages development, creativity, and active learning.

Active Supervision: Always ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children through proactive supervision.

Build Relationships: Foster respectful and nurturing relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Contribute to Service Growth: Collaborate with your team, families, and the broader community to support continuous improvement.

About you

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates

Paid Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Child Protection certificate

Safe Sleep and Food Safety (desirable)

National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months) or willingness to obtain.
