The Role

We are on the lookout for Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our housekeeping team to work at our Grand Mercure Magnetic Island. Previous experience preferred however a positive attitude and superior, friendly customer service ethic essential. Casual roles available, ability to work on weekends is a must, local residents highly regarded. Return Ferry Transfers are included from Townsville to/from Magnetic Island (conditions apply).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Servicing/Cleaning the Apartments/Public Areas

Maintaining linen and stock requirements

Undertake special cleaning projects

Follow the procedures for all lost property items

Communicate maintenance issues

The successful candidate will have:

Extremely high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure

Positive attitude & team player

Excellent communication & time management skills

Excellent grooming and presentation skills
