The Opportunity

A highly regarded GP-owned practice in Australia’s first inland city - Goulburn is seeking a General Practitioner to join their growing team. This opportunity offers full flexibility in scheduling and billing with full clinical autonomy. Special interest areas are encouraged and will be supported by the practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GP to come in and work in a practice that has been established for over 40 years and is committed to providing continuity of care in the community they serve.

The Role

The practice is seeking an experienced GP with strong generalist skills and a focus on continuity of care. The patient base is varied, with multigenerational patients, young families and the elderly whilst also supporting the strong sheep & wool farming community that the area is known for.

There is no after-hours or weekend requirement. However, should a GP wish to work weekends or after-hours, the practice is flexible to accommodate these types of requests.

Remuneration & Benefits

70% of billings (negotiable)

Support staff: Practice Manager on-site, FT Registered Nurse and Receptionist

Pathology on site

Dietician 1-2 days per month on-site

Option to work at local Goulburn Base Hospital in Emergency/on-call roster or Local Palliative Care Hospital

Who We’re Looking For

Vocationally Registered GP (FRACGP or equivalent) OR GP enrolled in/eligible for the PEP Specialist Pathway (Requiring Level 3 supervision and above)

Current AHPRA Specialist registration

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Professional commitment to providing compassionate patient care

** GPs holding MRCGP+ CCT or MICGP + CSCST or FRNZCGP + GPEP qualifications from the UK, Ireland and NZ respectively are encouraged to apply.
