About the Organisation:

They have a presence nationally and are now situated in 24 locations across Australia. They are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to support their friendly Ipswich office of 15 staff, offering you the best of the mid-tier experience while working close to home!

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
• Prepare financial statements
• Reviewing work for junior team members and assisting them
• Assist clients directly with queries, documentation and updates
• Get exposure to tax planning and strategy with clients

Skills and Experience:

• At least 2 years' experience working in public practice accounting with Australian Tax standards.
• CPA or CA not required but a bonus!
• Experience across Microsoft Suite, Xero and MYOB
• Strong knowledge and experience with Capital Gains Tax
• Experience communicating directly with clients in relation to tax preparation and advice
