UNDERGROUND DIAMOND DRILLER/ VARIOUS ROSTERS AVAILABLE POSSIBLE INTERNATIONAL WORK

ABOUT THE ROLE

Drillstaff is currently seeking experienced Underground Diamond Drillers to join our team for a variety of upcoming projects both throughout Western Australia and at international locations.

We are offering exciting opportunities for driven, safety-focused drillers who are ready to take on new challenges in high-performing crews, with the option of both local FIFO and overseas-based contracts.

You will be working for one of the most innovative drilling companies in Australia with the best equipment, processes, and pay rates in the industry.

You must have at least 12 months of experience in an underground diamond drilling role.

The positions are FIFO Perth with 2&1,2&2 and 1&1 rosters rosters available.

You will be drilling mainly NQ2 holes, operating extremely well-maintained and modern drill rigs.

Remuneration

Our drillers are some of the highest paid in the country with huge bonuses, including Bi-annual bonuses, and super paid on your total day rate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be required to work 12 hour shifts. You are expected to maintain the Drill rig and all other associated equipment to the highest standards. You will need a positive attitude and be responsible for the training of offsiders and ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You Must Have

• Experience operating underground drill rigs
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Have mechanical aptitude
• Can work a physically demanding role under pressure.
• Time management skills

A high level of respect for safety

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a valid National police clearance within three months
• Must hold a valid driver’s licence
• Be able to provide three reliable referees’
• Applicants must be physically and mentally fit and will be required to pass a stringent pre-employment medical assessment and regular drug and alcohol screening.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Working at Heights
• Cert III or better in Drilling operations
• Rigging and dogging tickets
• Forklift License
• Devi Flex and Ori experience
