Senior Accounts Officer position - broad position description

About the Company:

Our client is an established and secure residential building company specialising in the over 50s and residential housing sector. They are aligned with major key developers which has given them continuity and a strong pipeline of work forecast over the years to come.

About the Position:

Currently an opportunity exists for a Senior Accounts Officer to join the team in a hands on Senior Accounts Officer role.

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the following:

Full function accounts receivable

Running variation reports

Registering new accounts

Raising claims

Accounts payable including managing invoice inbox

Loading subcontractor and supplier payment runs

Payroll support

Credit card, bank and supplier reconciliations

Other support to Financial Controller

What we're looking for:

Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate the following

Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role

Experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

Experience in a building or construction related environment

Businesscraft experience highly regarded however not essential

Team player with a can-do attitude

Strong attention to detail

Able to work autonomously and take initiative
