Younity is excited to offer paid Hospitality traineeships in our Bean Seen Kitchen Cafe & Catering business, based in Deception Bay. We are looking for motivated people keen to undertake a Cert I in Hospitality while working in our fun and busy shop.

Duties will include customer service, cash handling, making fresh sandwiches and wraps, coffees, food preparation, taking orders, standard café set up and shut down, and cleaning.

This traineeship is perfect for anyone interested in working with people and wants to be a part of an exciting cafe environment. You will learn the ins and outs of working in a busy hospitality environment and gain practical skills that will set you up for a successful career.

You will also have the opportunity to develop your teamwork, communication, confidence-building, and job prep skills as you will work alongside other trainees and meet with your employment coach.

By the end of your traineeship, you will gain valuable experience and be ready to take an apprenticeship in various roles. Whether you want to become a barista, a caterer or a chef - this is the start you are looking for!

Who can apply?

Must NOT have completed a Certificate Hospitality before;

Not currently a full-time student at TAFE, University or School;

Be local to the Moreton Bay area;

Working with Children Check: Younity is a child safe organisation, and you must be eligible for a Blue Card.
