Global Tyre & Rubber Pty Ltd (GRI) are a global tyre manufacturer of Material Handling, Construction & Agricultural Tyres operating in over 75 countries world -wide.

To support this we are seeking a new Trainee Mobile Tyre Technician to join the GRI-FIT service team based in Cavan, SA.

The Role – What you will learn

How to fit, remove and perform maintenance on tyres & wheels

Perform inspections and determine the suitability of tyre & wheel components

Maintain quality in accordance with company policies & specifications

Demounting, repairing, replacing and fitting tyres

Ensure a high level of service quality

Ensuring work areas and tools are kept tidy and in good working order

Inspecting and refurbishing exchange rim stock

Correct use of all tools, equipment and machinery, including hydraulic press

Ensure a high-level safety focus during operations

Storage and preparation of waste tyres for disposal

Working both in the workshop and at customer yards on specialty tyres

Complete all relevant paperwork related to the role

You will perform duties at all times with a fully qualified Tyre Technician to safely perform tyre fitting

About You

Reliable and a team player

Fit, as this job is lifting shifting and can be labour intensive.

A strong safety focus

Current and valid drivers license

Willing to obtain LR or MR Licence, must have full licence - Minimum 1 year

Hourly rate based on experience and licences

Forklift operating experience & licence beneficial.

38 hours a week base + overtime as required
