Food Buzz Pty Ltd is in search of an experienced Chef. Our team is an established one; we value our staff just as much as our loyal customers.

Summary of Position:

Ø Plan and organize the preparation and cooking of food and perform other duties within the kitchen required.

Ø Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs & ordering food supplies

Ø Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

Ø Discussing food preparation issues with managers, dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff

Ø Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

Ø Preparing and cooking food

Ø Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations

Ø May select and train staff

Ø May freeze and preserve foods

To be successful in the role you will have:

· Appropriate qualifications such as AQF associate degree, advance diploma or diploma (ANZSCO SKILL LEVEL 2)

· 1s years or above experience may substitute for qualifications

· Prior experience working on fast-paced environment

· Knowledge of food hygiene and OHS standards

· A professional presentation and approach

· Ability to work closely with management to ensure the consistent high quality of food is upheld

· A positive attitude with strong work ethics and good communications skills

· Ability to work well within a team environment

· Be available to workdays, evenings and weekends

· Have your own reliable transport
