About the role
Coldstream Primary School OSHC and Early Years is seeking a talented and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to the children in our early learning centre. What you'll be doing

Planning and implementing engaging educational programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the children

Fostering a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children

Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to individualise learning experiences

Maintaining accurate records and documentation to support the children's learning and development

Collaborating with parents, families, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to the children's care and education

Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of the children

What we're looking for

A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification

Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within a primary school or childcare setting

A deep understanding of child development and the ability to create engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to promoting the best interests of children

A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
