BAT Trims is currently seeking a reliable, energetic and experienced all-round store person to join our warehouse team. This role is available in a Permanent Full-Time capacity. The successful candidate will be required to carry out duties relating to pick/packing orders.

Located in North Lakes, QLD, BAT Trims is a large manufacturer, wholesaler and importer of tiling tools and accessories supplying the Tiling and Building Industry nationwide.

Immediate start available, with comprehensive in-person training provided. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.

Main Duties Include:

• Assisting with general warehouse duties. These include but are not limited to loading and unloading of deliveries via forklift, sorting and packing customer orders
• Inventory control of stock
• General forklift duties including unloading/loading of trucks
• Answering inbound phone calls, responding to customer queries and orders when required
• Assisting with stock control
• General warehouse duties.
• Adhoc miscellaneous duties as directed by Senior Management

To be successful, the individual will:

• Possess high attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
• Have strong organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Be able to work unanimously within a team environment, and also autonomously
• Be physically fit and able to lift items of up to 20kg
• Have an understanding and appreciation of OH&S principles
• Hold a current forklift and valid driver’s License
• Have solid numeracy and literacy skills
• Basic computer literacy skills will be highly regarded

As this position involves face-to-face contact with customers, the successful applicant will need to maintain a clean and tidy appearance at all times along with a friendly and courteous attitude.
