About the role

As a Hospital Cleaner at Alwyn Rehabilitation Hospital, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control within our state-of-the-art healthcare facility. This casual position is based in our Strathfield, NSW location.

What you'll be doing

Thoroughly clean and sanitise patient rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces throughout the hospital

Restock and organise cleaning supplies and equipment

Adhere to strict infection control protocols and procedures

Collaborate with the wider hospital team to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff

Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues

Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to requests

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a cleaner or housekeeper, ideally within a healthcare, hospitality, or similar environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Ability to work efficiently and independently, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Understanding of and ability to adhere to strict infection control protocols

Physically fit and able to perform the duties of the role
