Our Client
Our client in Virginia QLD specializes in baked and unbaked pastry products. They are seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson with a valid High Reach Forklift licence to work in a cold room environment. This is a casual morning shift role with the potential to become permanent.

About the Role:

Ongoing Monday to Friday with a view to permanency

Experience in the food manufacturing industry

Steel-capped boots will be required

Understanding food hygiene, HACCP, and quality requirements

Knowledge of Workplace safety

Shift Timings:

Morning shift 5:30 am to 1:30 pm $36.25/hr + Super

Duties and Responsibilities

Operate high-reach forklift (Linde and Crown)

Loading and unloading stocks

Picking pallets for orders

Occasional manual handling of up to 10kg

Wrapping pallets

Basic paperwork

General cleaning of warehouse areas making sure to maintain tidy and accurate bin locations

Perform duties in freezer environments (down to -20°C)

About you:

Current and valid LF Forklift Licence and High-reach experience is REQUIRED.

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment (cold storage experience preferred)

Comfortable working in refrigerated/freezer environments

Good physical fitness and ability to lift up to 10 kg.

Can work on a fixed rotating roster (see roster sample above)

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

The successful candidate will have to attend a Site tour prior to commencing work.
