Join our Midwifery Team at Westmead Hospital - A leading Tertiary Hospital with the highest number of babies born in NSW
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time and Permanent Part Time

Remuneration: $72,152.52 - $101,299.47 per annum / $36.38 - $51.08 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 / 16 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
Make a meaningful impact by delivering person-centred, evidence-based care that drives real health outcomes. As a Registered Midwife, you’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care in partnership with individuals and a dedicated multidisciplinary team. Be part of a collaborative environment where your clinical expertise and compassionate care truly make a difference
Multiple opportunities for qualified midwives to work from 2 shifts/week to full-time in rotational positions across Women’s and Newborn Health in Westmead Hospital, including Antenatal Clinics, Birth Unit, and Postnatal Unit.

- Registration: Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife

- Previous relevant clinical experience in speciality.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
- Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team.
