About the role

Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to deliver high quality core welfare services as an independent member of the multidisciplinary team to patients and to their families/carers of Cancer Care Services, RBWH to facilitate improved health outcomes.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Facilitate patient access to appropriate government and community resources to ensure equity in patient outcomes
  • Develop knowledge and expertise through active learning within the team to a level where peer guidance is provided for routine practice and interventions
  • Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and support to students and less experienced staff members commensurate with the level of experience.
