About the Role
We require an enthusiastic, motivated Physiotherapist to join our experienced and supportive Allied Health team on a casual basis. The ability to work weekends as the sole therapist and provide leave cover is preferred. The department provides services to a broad range of clinical caseloads across the hospital. Work areas include medical and surgical acute inpatients in both the Intensive Care Unit and acute ward settings, whilst developing appropriate discharge plans within a multidisciplinary team.
About You
To be successful you will need to be flexible with shifts and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build rapport and deliver a high standard of customer-focused service in line with our Ramsay core values.
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent with AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 1-5 years Acute clinical experience working in an acute hospital setting with experience in Intensive Care (preferred).
- The ability to apply clinical reasoning, sound judgement and complex decision making at an advanced level of practice.
- The ability to devise and evaluate evidence-based practice within assessment and treatment protocols.
- Demonstrated effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated high level time management and ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work/ caseload.
- Applicants must be flexible, team oriented and prepared to hit the ground running.
Remuneration
$40.75 - $60.98 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (Grade 1.1 – 2.5)

The Hospital
Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital opened on 4 November 2013, offering a comprehensive range of inpatient and day services across a wide range of specialties.
Facilities include 9 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11 bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and an 9 chair day therapy unit. Medical consulting suites are located onsite together with comprehensive pathology and radiology services. Other onsite facilities include a retail pharmacy and coffee shop.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
