PLUMBER GAS FITTER ON HAMILTON ISLAND!

As a Plumber & Gas Fitter, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and installing plumbing and gas systems across our luxury resort. From studying blueprints to installing water systems and ensuring compliance, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering top-notch service to our guests.

Your Responsibilities:

Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required

Install hot and cold water systems, fire protection systems, sanitary plumbing, and more

Maintain and secure all tools and equipment

Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in compliance with industry regulations

Provide assistance to other tradespersons as directed

Demonstrate a positive attitude and uphold HIE values

Conduct all work safely and ensure compliance with regulations

Maintain quality control and effective time management

Be responsible for all actions, work, language, and behaviours

Provide accurate administration for all relevant processes within the maintenance department

Perform other tasks as directed by HIE management

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years post-trade experience

Queensland Trade Licence – Plumber (or ability to convert to QLD from interstate)

Queensland open Gas Licence Type A (or ability to convert to QLD from interstate)

White Card

Driver’s Licence

Ability to be approved for and hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)

Previous experience in tourism or resorts (Desirable)
