My client is a well known household name, leading the way in revolutionizing the fast-paced, convenience-driven sector. To assist with this journey, they are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Analyst who has an entrepreneurial flair and who truly understands the numbers and knows how to use them to make an impact. You will be collaborating with multiple business units across Australia and New Zealand to support a growing business so exceptional business partnering and communication skills are critical to succeed.

The scope of this role is broad, spanning commercial, operations and FP&A activities across multiple businesses - my client is looking for someone from an eCommerce / start-up environment or a Big4 trained candidate who has already stepped into the commercial sector and looking for their 2nd move.

Day to day duties will include:

• Support all month end closing and reporting deliverables across multiple divisions to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Ad-hoc analysis for quarterly, half year and yearly external reporting requirements.
• Prepare all reporting including the weekly flash, weekly scan back accruals, commission calculations and manual claim reconciliations.
• Support the annual planning and monthly forecasting process across all BUs
• Support UAT testing and/or systems investigations work related to new business and feature developments
• Drive continuous improvement to support evolving business needs

What you’ll bring:

• 3 years + experience in a business partnering / analytical role
• Making your 2nd move from one of the Big4 accounting practices OR experience in eCommerce / Retail / FMCG or start-up business
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or accounting
• CA/CPA qualified (or close to completion)
• Strong modelling and analytical skills with advanced Excel / Google sheets skills
• Strong data literacy skills with Big Query / SQL skills (highly preferred)
• A drive and passion to partner with the business to drive insights and make a difference!
