Caloundra City Private School (CCPS) Little Learners' is a well-equipped modern, and conveniently located 75 place long day care centre located in Caloundra City Private School . We are looking for an experienced Lead Educator and Assistant Educator to join our team.

About the role and group

We are looking for educators', who wholeheartedly enjoy and thrive on working with children in their development supporting their curiosity and independence. Someone who provides excellent care for their physical, emotional and social wellbeing and who is confident and capable of working as part of a caring, dynamic and fun team of early childhood educators.

You will be able to observe and document the children's interests and achievements big or small and gently support them in their development through playful, age appropriate and safe learning activities.

You will

Create positive, professional and genuine relationships with your colleagues, children and their families

Assist in the delivery of a meaningful, holistic educational program based on the EYLF and QKLG and inspired by Learning Through Play philosophies and Nature Play QLD

Have a high level of motivation and initiative whilst being professional, proactive, flexible and fair

Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Assist in the preparation of the QIP, SIP and review of policies and procedures

You will have

Previous child care experience

Current ACECQA approved Diploma or Cert 111 qualification.

Working with Children Blue Card

Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain

Current Child Protection training or willingness to obtain

Experience with Xplor software preferred but not essential
