In this position you will:

· Provide an efficient and reliable solid waste removal service for the community, including operation of side lift garbage truck, town centre and park bin collection and booked waste service collection.

· Maintain basic service records as well as clean, care for and undertake minor maintenance of vehicles

· Follow safe working practices and report any unsafe plant, equipment or practices.

You will have:

· a HR driver’s licence and experience,

· a Construction Induction Certificate and ideally,

· experience or knowledge of waste collection services.

· You will have good interpersonal skills, with proven ability to provide quality customer service and work effectively with a team.

· You will be enthusiastic and flexible.

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $61,197 gross per annum

+ early morning shift allowance

+ adverse working conditions allowance of $2,590 per annum

+ 12% superannuation

+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary

+ annual award increase
