So, what’s the role?
In this role you will be speaking with our members over the phone in our contact centre, and you may assist in our branch as required and meet with our members face to face.
In a typical day, you will get involved in:
- Handling member maintenance enquiries including assisting and processing transactions (deposits, withdrawals, and transfers), outbound follow up activity, internet banking troubleshooting and change of contact details (address, phone number).
- Providing education to members about our products and services, as well as solutions that provide benefit to the customer’s financial situation.
- Contributing to the achievement of team and department targets.
About You
We are looking for a self-starter with a positive attitude whose primary focus is on the customer. Customer service experience is essential – you might have experience from retail, hospitality, call centre or banking industries.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with members.
- “Can do” attitude to learning and acquiring new skills.
- Results oriented and can help drive outcomes for our members.
- A genuine curiosity to trouble-shoot and problem-solve enquiries.
- Contact centre experience is essential. Financial services contact centre experience would be an advantage.
- Tier 2 FSRA qualification desirable but not essential.
What are the next steps?
We are recruiting for multiple vacancies due to a number of staff movements.
We are running an assessment centre on the morning of Friday 8 August at our offices in Hawthorn East. This will run approx. 9am – 12pm and will involve a range of assessments including an interview, role play and group exercise.
Commencing with two weeks of full training on Monday 25 August 2025.
