We have an opportunity available in our Roma Workshop for a goal orientated Roustabout/Yard Hand with a high attention to detail, good attitude, quality focused and the willingness to get in and get the job done. A high regard for safety is essential.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Manual driver’s license C class.
• QLD Forklift ticket essential or willing to obtain
• Experienced loader driver (preferred)
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
• Mechanical interest is a must
• Ability to safely use and operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow a procedure and high attention to detail
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic
• Experience in welding/Fabrication desired but not essential
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
• Have full Australian work rights

Primary Duties:

• Assist inspection with yard loader/forklift movements
• Load out and unload of drilling tools and equipment as directed
• Complete appropriate paperwork for load outs and returns
• Preparing drilling equipment for inspection – high pressure water blasting, grinding.
• Continual Yard maintenance to maintain a high level of safety and a professional image
• Keeping workshop and company vehicles clean
• General yard and workshop duties including cleaning/housekeeping
• Carry out weekly plant/equipment audits and maintenance as required
• Conduct small welding/fabrication jobs when required (preferred but not essential)
