As a Pharmacy Assistant at Direct Chemist Outlet, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a store culture that promotes customer service and well-being, leadership, teamwork, safety, respect and communication.

Your main duties will include:
• Assist in the preparation of medicines
• Select stock and attach dispensing and cautionary labels
• Put medication into administration containers
• Use computers for routine maintenance procedures
• Carry out customer service duties, such as answering enquiries and advising customers on appropriate products for use in relation to certain health related conditions
• Operate cash registers

Your minimum work hours will be 38 hours/week.

Personal Skills and Experience

To be considered for the role you must have:

👏🏼 A can-do positive attitude with a strong team focus

🗣️ Strong communication and customer service skills

📜 Certificate II in Community Pharmacy or equivalent experience and competency

📈 Experience with stock management, merchandising and displays

💵 General administrative experience including invoicing, banking and reporting
