Our government client is seeking an experienced AO7 Finance Officer to support a high-impact business improvement and systems team. This role sits within a fast-paced division focused on supporting ICT projects for modernising internal platforms, improving workflows, and strengthening operational capability across essential services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial advice and support for budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and monthly reporting
• Manage operational and ICT project budgets across the division
• Oversee end-of-month and end-of-financial-year processes
• Ensure financial reporting aligns with compliance, contract, and audit standards
• Maintain oversight of contract financials to ensure value-for-money and project transparency
• Support broader transformation efforts through accurate financial analysis and reporting

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, project-based environments
• CPA or CA qualification (highly desirable)
• Power BI skills and prior exposure to digital project environments (desirable)
• Advanced Excel skills (essential)
