About the Role:
The Floor Finisher position is central to our client's operations, ensuring each installation is completed to the highest standard. As a vital team member, you will work directly with clients and team members to deliver impeccable results that reflect a strong commitment to quality and professionalism.
Job locations may include Horsham, Bendigo, Burleigh Heads, and Tweed Heads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install a variety of floor coverings, including carpets, vinyl, laminate, and hardwood, with precision and care.
• Prepare subfloors by sanding, filling, and leveling surfaces to ensure maximum durability and aesthetics.
• Accurately measure and cut flooring materials for a flawless fit in complex layouts.
• Provide expert advice to customers on the maintenance and care of their new flooring.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, consistently adhering to company safety and quality protocols.
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure client requirements are fully understood and met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues promptly and effectively.
• Keep abreast of new flooring products and technologies to enhance service delivery.
• Contribute to team meetings with feedback and improvement suggestions.
• Ensure all projects are completed within allocated timeframes and budgets.

• Proven experience as a Floor Finisher, with 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of various flooring materials and installation techniques.

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Flooring installation: 3 years (Required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver Licence (Required)
• Forklift Licence (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Preferred)
