About the role

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for full-time Kitchen Hand on day shift to join the team at DON in Castlemaine, Victoria.

This role is a permanent full-time role, working Monday to Friday (5:30 am - 1:36 pm).

Your duties may include: Food preparation, basic cooking, customer service, cleaning & dishwashing, stock replenishment and some heavy lifting.

The ideal applicant will have:

• Food Handlers Certificate - desired
• Solid experience in a similar position, including food preparation and customer service
• Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
• Thorough understanding of OH&S and Food Safety practices
• A high attention to detail with a hands on approach
• Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Catering experience is a bonus.

• Able to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Be flexible and trusting
• Demonstrate a sound work ethic

• Must have a car with driving Licence
