Protech are looking for experienced Bogger Operators and Remote Bogger Operators to perform work with our client, located in the Tanami Desert on a 2/2 FIFO basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Pay Rate: $72.10 Casual Flat Rate
• Super on ALL hours
• Tues – Tues Roster
• 2/2 Roster: Week of Days, Week of Nights
• Potential to be ongoing for the right candidate
• Point of Hire: Darwin, Alice Springs, Perth or Brisbane

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct daily pre-start checks and regular maintenance of the bogger
• Inspect production areas before, during and end of shift
• Load trucks for the removal of broken material from the mine.
• Remove broken dirt stocks from active headings and leave headings in good condition for drilling.
• Dump dirt in stockpiles when and as required.
• Maintain roadways and loading bays, cleaning up spillage.
• Conduct heading clean ups as required.
• Assist with the installation of services, including ventilation.
• Record all shift data and complete daily inspection reports.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
• Report all HSE incidents.
• Demonstrate leadership in HSE through personal behaviours and conversations.
  

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 2+ years’ experience in operating Boggers and/or Remote
• CAT Minestar Command Experience (Desirable)
• Valid Manual Driver’s License
• Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Valid & contactable references
• Strong understanding and adherence to OHS
