Your Impact:
• Design and lead a unified GIS strategy that supports asset management and operational planning across Horizon Power’s network.
• Advise on best-practice geospatial applications to optimise asset visibility and performance across the electricity supply chain—from generation to retail.
• Translate business needs into actionable GIS roadmaps, focusing on cost savings, operational agility, and workforce efficiency.
• Create intuitive geospatial solutions that empower System Operations and regional teams to manage planned and reactive work effectively.
• Steer GIS architecture and workflow enhancements to streamline processes and improve usability.
• Stay ahead of geospatial technology trends and lead supplier engagement to ensure Horizon Power leverages industry-leading systems.
Your expertise:
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field—preferably with a focus on GIS.
• Strong expertise in managing asset and utility systems such as GIS, EAM, Field Mobility, and Operational Technology.
• Proven experience applying information change management and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Solid grasp of resource and financial management principles.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence positive outcomes.
