About the Role

You will work closely with our associate solicitor with guidance from our principal solicitor, supported by a dedicated administration assistant.

You should be able to demonstrate:

Strong time management and organisational skills

A willingness to learn and develop within the team

Initiative and the ability to work independently

A collaborative spirit and flexible approach to challenges

High attention to detail and accuracy

A capacity to meet with clients, prepare, finalise and complete consent orders, binding financial agreement, initiating applications / interlocutory applications, prepare subpoena's and ensure disclosure requirements are complied with. Appearances for criminal or traffic matters are also a must. The role will involve all facets of family and criminal law, and it is intended you will become our primary family and criminal law solicitor.

If you also have experience with wills and estates or criminal law, this would be highly advantageous but is not a requirement.

Whilst we continue to build family law in our practice, it is not a primary practice area. Therefore, the work is more limited, however, you will be able to gain exposure in other areas alongside our senior solicitor.
