My client is an established CA firm in the CBD and are seeking their next Senior Accountant/Supervisor. They are a modern accounting and business advisory firm with 40+ staff and have developed a strong reputation in the marketplace demonstrated by a growing client base ranging across SMEs, large consolidated groups, HNW family groups, investments and SMSFs.

Role

Reporting to a partner, you’ll be working in a compliance and review capacity with exposure to advisory projects. This role will require you to be involved closely with your clients in order to facilitate their compliance requirements and to achieve their business objectives through value-add/advisory services.

Some responsibilities include:

Liaising directly with clients, developing and building strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for business development.

Coaching, mentoring and supervision of junior staff members; and

Providing support for ad-hoc special assignments and value-add work for clients, including business performance reviews, development of tax planning strategies and attending to estate planning matters and wealth preservation.

Tax compliance for all entities including partnerships, trusts, companies and SMSF.

Applicants

Approximately 5 years (or more) Australian business services and tax experience

CA qualified or upon completion

Strong accounting systems proficiency and ability to adapt to new ones

Excellent written and verbal communication skills due to the client facing nature of role
