About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide high quality, cost efficient and effective clinical and non-clinical services to directly or indirectly benefit the patients/clients of Metro North Health Service. This includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Undertake performance appraisal PAD and KPI monitoring of other senior doctors within the Geriatric Medicine Service.
- Ensure appropriate representation at (Medical) leadership and clinical quality meetings on behalf of the department.
- Take responsibility for junior medical education and facility research.
- In those Departments with a Deputy Clinical Director the Deputy will assist the Director with some or all of these portfolios as negotiated with the Director and will deputise and represent the Department and the Director as appropriate.
