About the Role:
We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team. In this essential role, you will deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to our elderly residents, focusing on pain management, mobility, and maintaining quality of life. You will also provide manual handling education to staff and collaborate with the broader care team to ensure a person-centered approach.
This is an on-site position working across our two facilities:
3 days per week in Wahroonga (79 Mt Pleasant Avenue, Wahroonga NSW 2076)
2 days per week in Kings Langley (56 Elsom Street, Kings Langley NSW 2147)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver effective clinical physiotherapy care, including pain management and mobility plans
Maintain and evaluate mobility-related care plans and documentation
Provide manual handling training to staff (including during induction and refreshers)
Support staff on return-to-work programs (WorkCover approved cases)
Participate in case conferences and liaise with residents’ families as needed
Supervise safe and appropriate use of physiotherapy equipment
Maintain accurate resident records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Promote dignity, empathy, and respect in all resident interactions
Align practice with facility policies, aged care standards, and continuous improvement processes
What We're Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who has:
Current national registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
Experience in aged care or geriatric rehabilitation
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Understanding of accreditation processes, Work Health & Safety, and infection control
Commitment to person-centered care and respect for residents’ dignity
