Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic

Role:

Jones Welding Solutions are recruiting for a Qualified Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to work with the South 32 team on site at the refinery in the Southwest region. We have a long-term contract for ongoing site-based works.

Dayshift: Monday – Thursday 10-hour shifts

Dayshift: Tuesday – Friday 10-hour shifts

The successful applicant will have:

Valid Driving License

Relevant Trade qualification

Construction Induction Card (White or Blue card)

HR and Forklift tickets would be beneficial

Ability to pass a pre-employment and site medical testing

Key Responsibilities include:

Perform preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and component changeouts

Diagnose faults and complete inspections on heavy mobile equipment

Maintain service records in line with site maintenance systems

Work closely with the Leading Hand and Supervisors to ensure equipment availability

Raising Work requests as and when required to ensure plant reliability
