Sharpe Fitouts is a family owned commercial shopfitting company located in Balcatta WA, offering Project Management, shop & retail fit outs, refurbishments, partitions, demolition, and maintenance services WA wide.

Due to recent company expansion, we are seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals for the roles of Tradesperson. Please note that work is to commence immediately.

Successful applicants will be expected to perform the following tasks:

• Understands and applies quality control techniques
• Use shopfitting tools and equipment, as well as handling carpentry materials. Responsibility taken for the location, maintenance and condition of any company (Sharpe Fitouts) tools used.
• Exercises good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Performs incidental work of a trades or non-trades nature to facilitate the completion of the whole task.
• Is able to inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards.
• Construction works to comply with Australian Standards and Codes
• Performs work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment.
• Apply workplace health and safety requirements, policies and procedures of Sharpe Fitouts and the construction industry including daily site cleanliness
• Carry out general demolition of minor building structures
• Install flooring systems, construct wall frames, construct ceiling frames, erect roof trusses
• Construct pitched roofs, eaves and advanced roofs
• Install and replace windows and doors
• Refurbish timber sashes to window frames
• Construct, erect and dismantle formwork for stairs and ramps
• Erect and dismantle formwork to suspended slabs, columns, beams and walls
• Erect and dismantle slip as well as jump from formwork
• Plan and organise work, carry out measurements, calculations, read and interpret plans and specifications
• Erect and dismantle restricted height scaffolding
• Cut and bend materials using oxy-LPG equipment.
• Fulfill other duties as required by Leading Hand or management as requested/required.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• Experience in commercial shopfitting
• Excellent Eye / Attention to detail for quality finishes
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
• Ability to work under pressure
• Exceptional customer service
• Must have all tools of trade to complete shopfit projects including basic hand tools, drill bits, power tools, cordless kits, drop saw, leads 4 way power box RCD tagged & tested
• Valid driver's license, possess own vehicle
