PROJECT MANAGER

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and proficient Project Manager to join a leading company located in Melbourne. This full-time role entails the comprehensive oversight of the project execution cycle. The ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in managing projects within the aluminium, glass, cladding commercial industry concentrating in Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the full project execution cycle, including planning, mobilization, control, monthly progress report to be use as a reference for monthly progress claims and contractual compliance.

· Attend pre-construction meeting with the Estimating/Design Manger during tender stage.

· Lead methodology in the installation and operation of projects assigned.

· Ensure the project adheres to approved designs, meets stability standards, and fulfills all specifications.

· Collaborate with the office, contractors, consultants, and production teams to ensure smooth project execution.

· Coordinate the production programme with the factory manager and assist with the material procurement/ordering to arrive on time.

· Provide confirmed sizes to the factory manager that will be issued for production.

· Track and maintain project budget and manage materials, manpower, and design specifications throughout the project lifecycle.

· Organise submission of document requirements such as Material Sample, SWMS, ITP, Waste management plan, EHS management plan, Warranty and Maintenance manual.

Qualifications:

· Qualified experience in trades with solid foundation for project management expertise in the field.

· Extensive experience in the Building Envelope and Facade Industry contributes significantly to overall project success.

· Strong proficiency in aluminium curtain walls, windows and doors, glass balustrades, and cladding design enhances the quality and aesthetic appeal of projects.

· Proven track record in project management and site management, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills, fosters a collaborative environment that drives successful outcomes.

· Proficiency in relevant project management software MS project/MS Excel.

· A collaborative team player who actively promotes and respects the company's structure and objectives.

Experience Required:

· Minimum 10 years of project execution experience in the Aluminium, Glass, and Architectural elements industries within the Tier 1 and 2 construction industry.

· Fulltime only – Monday to Friday

· White card.
