About this role
Due to rapid growth OBrienco Transport is seeking experienced Interstate MC Operators to join our dynamic team. As an Interstate MC Driver, you will play a crucial role in servicing our customers around Australia with a focus around Quality and Safety. This is a full-time position, with our depot based on the West side of Toowoomba.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating heavy vehicles, including semi-trailers and B-doubles, to transport general goods across multiple industries and in all states and territories.

Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies to uphold our focus of Safety & Quality.

Conducting pre-trip inspections and ensuring the proper maintenance of your assigned vehicle in accordance with NHVR & WAHVA.

Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.

Maintaining detailed logs and records of your driving activities; logbooks, timesheets, connotes etc.

Collaborating with the logistics team to optimise delivery schedules, routes and Growth.

What we're looking for

A valid MC driver's licence with a clean driving history

Experience (at least 2 years) driving interstate MC and HC vehicles

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Understanding of CoR, NHVR & WAHVA requirements and processes

The ability to access connotes via Email, Text message and Driver App.
