About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Spray Painter to join our team at Kallangur Smash Repairs in Kallangur, Queensland. This is a full-time position, where you will play a vital and valued role in our team.

What you'll be doing

Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming

Mix and apply paint to vehicle panels and components with precision and attention to detail

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols

Collaborate with the wider team to streamline the repair process

Undertake any other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the workshop

What we're looking for

Qualification in Automotive Spray Painting

Experience as an Automotive Spray Painter, preferably in a smash repair environment

Excellent knowledge of vehicle paints, materials, and application techniques

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team-oriented environment

Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
