Mara Cleaning Services WA is a 100% Aboriginal family owned and operated company, established in 2021, MCS proudly provides mine site, commercial, industrial and residential cleaning services to several areas in the Pilbara and Goldfields regions.

Job Summary:

We're seeking motivated and reliable FIFO Cleaners (Peggy roles) to join our growing team in the Pilbara. If you’re passionate about cleanliness, safety, and teamwork, and you want to be part of a supportive Aboriginal-owned company, this could be the role for you.

What to expect from us:

FIFO from Perth (WA candidate only)

2:1 roster (2 weeks on, 1 week off)

60-80 hours per week (varied depending on site requirements)

All flights, meals and accommodation provided

Onboarding medical, inductions and uniforms provided

Weekly pay, stable full-time position

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

Delivering quality mine site, commercial and residential detailed cleaning services to the highest standard. This includes both site and camp cleaning, this includes stripping and making of beds.

Completing a variety of cleaning tasks to company standard using correct equipment while following safety procedures.

Handling a variety of cleaning chemicals.

Some heavy lifting and manual handling.

Working safely at all times in a physically demanding environment.

The ability to work autonomously and in a team while considering those around you.

Minimum requirements:

These roles are only available for candidates currently living in Western Australia with the ability to fly from Perth Airport.

Previous Cleaning, laundry and mine site experience desired.

Current National Police Clearance is essential.

Current Australian Driver's License (no restrictions)

Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and a physical medical assessment.

Must have permanent working rights in Australia with no restrictions.

Must be reliable with good communication skills.

Desirable requirements:

Strong work ethic.

Attention to detail.

Able to work in a team and by yourself.

Experience with stripping and sealing floors (not essential).
