We're Hiring: Mobility Specialist – Melbourne Showroom (Abbotsford)

PUSH MOBILITY is on the lookout for someone who’s passionate about helping people live their best lives. This role is based in our Melbourne showroom and warehouse in Abbotsford, where you’ll work directly with clients to find mobility solutions that are fun, practical and genuinely life-changing.

We’re not your average disability equipment company. We focus on innovation, inclusion and individuality. Whether it’s trialling wheelchairs, handcycles or power assists, helping someone hit the beach in a beach wheelchair, or working alongside local councils to make public spaces inclusive – this role is all about making a real impact.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting clients through trials of wheelchairs, power assists and handcycles

Managing showroom appointments and responding to enquiries

Working with councils, surf clubs and community groups to make beaches and parks accessible

Using technology confidently (email, Gmail, internal systems) to manage bookings and orders

Occasionally travelling to customer sites or community locations around Victoria for trials and support

Working side-by-side with Shane, our founder and Managing Director, to learn the ropes

Who we’re looking for:

Someone with experience in mobility equipment or assistive technology (ideal but not essential)

An Occupational Therapist is a great fit, but not a requirement

Confident using computers and navigating tech with ease

Friendly, approachable, a good communicator and a great team player

Holds a current driver's licence and comfortable with some longer drives for customer visits

Genuinely passionate about improving accessibility and inclusion

A bit about PUSH MOBILITY:
We’re a small, national team with showrooms in Melbourne (Abbotsford), Adelaide and the Sunshine Coast. Our Abbotsford space is an open-plan warehouse surrounded by greenery, great coffee and the Yarra River, where we often take clients on bike trials.

We’ve helped make over 160 beaches accessible around Australia. In summer, you’ll likely spend a few sunny days testing beach wheelchairs or laying out beach matting! YES... that’s really part of the job!
