Teknik Motorsport is looking for a LOCAL to join our team within the Motorcycle industry.

Teknik Motorsport is a motorcycle suspension company based in South Penrith. We produce and service motorcycle suspension for clients all over Australia, with a growing world market. We operate an ecommerce store with an extensive range of parts and components.

This is a casual role, with various warehousing responsibilities. No motorcycling knowledge or experience is required, and all warehousing training is provided. This role exists to support the existing team, tasks are many and varied - such as picking & packing, replenishing/restocking, stocktakes, packaging products, light component assembly, etc.

We are looking to employ an appropriate candidate for approx 12-15 hours a week, with more hours available subject to demand.

Shifts are flexible, ideally you're available to work on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am-4pm, however we can accommodate other arrangements for the right candidate.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Assisting an established warehouse team of 3 people with various responsibilities as required - this includes some order picking, unpacking and repackaging goods, etc.

Stock and inventory control - including stocktakes and quick stock checks.

Preparing products for sale - assembling product bundles, repackaging goods. Relabelling incoming products.

Basic assembly of small motorcycle components - all training provided.

Picking and packaging very small parts, this is a key element of the role. Requires great attention to detail and good fine motor skills.

Maintain an orderly warehouse by following existing bin location conventions, general housekeeping and cleanliness.

Manual handling up to 15kg.

No warehousing/automotive experience required, all training is provided.

Other fair and reasonable duties as directed or required to aid in the smooth and successful conduct of the business.

Skills and experience

High attention to detail, precise and accurate. Good fine motor skills.

Efficient and punctual, arriving to shifts on time and working through set tasks in a timely matter.

Good communication skills.

Ability to self-manage and stay on task, working under light supervision.

Good general computer skills including basic Word and Excel

A confident and professional attitude, with a Customer Service focus

Have reliable transport
