Plasterboard Fixer & Flusher – Commercial Work | Full-Time Opportunity

We’re looking for a reliable, experienced all-rounder who can fix and flush plasterboard to a high standard across a mix of commercial fitouts.

One of our top team members has recently moved on, and we’re looking to bring in someone steady and skilled to help us keep things moving. If you’ve been on the tools for a few years and want regular work with a good crew, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re a family-run business based in Adelaide, focused on carpentry, interior linings, and commercial fitouts. Most of our jobs are repeat work with builders who know and trust us office fitouts, aged care upgrades, medical, schools, and tenancy works. We show up, do quality work, and look after our crew.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to install and finish plasterboard confidently. You’ll work across small to medium commercial projects alongside our team of chippies and fixers. We don’t expect you to lead jobs or handle reports unless you’re keen to grow into that just bring solid skills and a good attitude.

Key tasks:

Fixing and flushing walls and ceilings to a clean, professional standard

Installing suspended ceilings and steel stud partitions (as needed)

Reading construction drawings and scopes

Working in with other trades and maintaining site cleanliness

Assisting with basic carpentry tasks occasionally, if you’re up for it

What We’re Looking For

5+ years’ experience in both fixing and flushing (must be confident in both)

Must have complete set of professional plastering tools including taping knives, hawks, trowels, and sanders

Can read plans and carry out work unsupervised

White Card, driver’s licence, own tools and reliable vehicle

Good work ethic, attention to detail, and team-first attitude

Trade certificate is a bonus, but experience matters most

Commercial experience preferred

Must be able to pass police background check for work in schools and aged care facilities
