Casual position - Permanency available for the right applicant

The role involves working as part of a two man crew, operating a truck mounted vacuum excavation unit to safely perform non-destructive digging/hydro excavation for the installation, location, repair and maintenance of underground services.

Carrying out pre-start and end of day checks of the vacuum trucks to ensure optimal equipment presentation and performance. Conduct works effectively and efficiently to ensure tasks are completed safely and in a timely manner. Maintain professional and open communications with the clients to ensure optimal customer service

On the job training provided. Previous experience operating a vacuum truck to perform non destructive digging will be highly regarded.

Requirements:

Ability to pass drug and medical screenings

Must have a clean Police/Criminal History

HR or MR license - with a clean driving record

Construction white card

Physically fit & not afraid of hard work - this is a labour intensive role you must be prepared to work in hot/cold/muddy/wet conditions

Safety conscious, have a proactive work ethic and attitude to daily tasks

Work well as part of a team but also able to work autonomously

Prepared to work overtime (penalty rates apply)

Punctual and reliable

Reliable transport to and from work
