About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Plumber and Gasfitter to carry out Services and maintenance plumbing for domestic, Commercial, and industrial properties. We seek someone competent in working both as part of a team and autonomously, who is looking to advance their position and work alongside like-minded tradespeople within a safe and rewarding environment.

Duties & responsibilities

Service, maintain, repair, and install Plumbing and Drainage services and fixtures.

Read and understand building Plans and Drawings.

Maintain and update knowledge of current and upcoming plumbing standards and legislation.

Follow and Maintain Company Procedures and Policies

Be on an on-call roster for 1 week a month

Skills & Experience

Proven prior experience in Maintenance will be an advantage

Minimum 2 years of proven experience in maintenance plumbing required

Hold a current Queensland Plumbers Licence

Hold a current Queensland Plumbers Licence with a minimum of 12 months' validity

(Gas license optional but an advantage)

Hold a current Queensland manual driver's license

Knowledge and experience in:

Installation, Servicing, and repairing of Plumbing systems and equipment

Have a sound knowledge of:

Current Plumbing & or Gas fitting Standards

Legislation and Local council requirements

Have or be willing to obtain certificates in, but not limited to, Backflow Prevention, Thermostatic Mixing Valves, Solar Hot Water working at heights, asbestos awareness, confined spaces, EWP.

Have sound computer and communication skills.

Must hold a valid Construction White Card

Must be able to pass a police background check and drug screening
