General Practitioner – Veteran Health | $200/hr | 2 Days/Week | Telehealth & Case Conferencing

We are currently seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to support the health and wellbeing of Veterans through collaborative case conferencing and follow-up telehealth care.

About the Role
Join a highly supportive and multidisciplinary panel of medical and allied health professionals focused on Veteran patient care. This role is required for 2 days/week, duties and tasks include:

🔹 Case Conferencing – Mondays preferred

Review and discuss 11 veteran patient cases per day with a collaborative panel

Provide input and clinical expertise to inform ongoing care recommendations

🔹 Telehealth Consultations – Second day flexible

Conduct 2 telehealth appointments per hour with Veterans to assess their eligibility and need for incapacity medical certificates

Patients are reviewed on a rolling 3-month basis

Key Details

Start date: Late July or early August 2025

Schedule: 2 days per week (case conferencing Monday, second day flexible)

Location: Telehealth-based role – work from anywhere

Rate: $200 per hour

Requirements

Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM

Current AHPRA registration

Availability for 2 days per week on an ongoing basis

Previous experience with Veteran health, occupational medicine, or medico-legal assessments (desirable but not essential)

Confident in collaborative care models and telehealth delivery
